§  First year and final year students are not eligible.

§  A copy of proof of level of registration at CU signed and stamped by the faculty.

§  A copy of candidate’s transcript of records, including their GPA for the previous year.

§  Learning agreement for studies KA 171, signed by the student, signed & stamped by home faculty, filling in Part1: “Before the Mobility” with detailed list of courses.  Click here to download:

§  Proof of English Language Proficiency (Minimum level B2 for studies in English).

§  Exchange students who want to study in Spanish must have a B1 Spanish certificate.

§  M.Sc. students& PhD students must be enrolled in a master or a PhD programme at the time of application and during the whole period of studies and must have registered their proposal.

§  Master& PhD students should provide a report from their supervisor about the thesis progress and should mention in the email body in which phase are they on the time of application

§  Letter of motivation (No more than one page)

§  A copy of valid passport or ID.

§  Updated CV (Maximum 2 Pages).

Required Documents

vAll the required documents should be scanned, as ONE CLEAR PDF FILE, and sent by email to mobility@iro.cu.edu.eg, as follows:

§  Email Subject: (Host University Name) – (Type of Mobility)- (Name and surname in English as will be written in passport).

§  Email content: (Self Introduction, name, faculty, programme applying for, date of birth .../.../…., passport number & list of attachments).

Application Process

§  Signature & stamp of the responsible person at the sending institution must be on the first page.

§  The area of studies for the chosen mobility must be relevant to studies at home university

§  All applications are pre-screened by the selection committee.

§  In complete and late Applications will be AUTOMATICALLY DISCARDED.
